Every year, Ethos brings eight seminaries together to offer a conference on one of the great doctrines of the Church. The theme of the 2024 Ethos Annual Conference is ‘The Hope of Things to Come’, which focusses on eschatology, the doctrine of the last things.

Christian eschatology deals with a number of important biblical themes such as death, the second coming of Christ, the final judgement, and the new heavens and the new earth. But it is also the aspect of the Christian faith that has been subjected to many speculations in the history of the Church. At this conference, four speakers from different theological colleges in Singapore address different aspects of this complex topic. The conference attracted Christians from various denominations and backgrounds, including theological students from different colleges. The discussion following the presentations was lively and wide-ranging.
